ADELE BIANCO

Adele Bianco passed away peacefully on October 24, 2008 with her family at her side. She was a resident of Tappan for 44 years and previously resided in Brooklyn. Adele was born in Brooklyn on July 21, 1933 to Charles and Marjorie Fuchs Anello. For 35 years, she owned and operated Virgo Travel Agency in Tappan until recently. Adele was Past President of the PTA at St. Joseph's Regional High School and the William O'Shaefer School, Goodwill Ambassador to Aruba and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank. Adele was the devoted mother of Marjory Griffin and her husband Philip and Frank Bianco and his wife Amy and loving grandmother of Steven, Scott Griffin and Frank and Taylor Bianco. Adele is also survived by her sister Fran Interrante and brother Gary Gauraputo. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, 10 AM, at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, 4-8 PM at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice of Rockland (845-634-4974 or www.hospiceofrockland.org).
