ALFRED CONCHIGLIO Obituary

Alfred Conchiglio, a longtime resident of Yonkers, NY, died Friday, March 24, 2006. He was 92 years old. Mr. Conchiglio was a veteran of World War II, having served as a staff sergeant in the Army Air Forces receiving numerous commendations. Following his military service, Alfred worked as a furrier in New York City. After his retirement, he went to work as a para-mutual clerk at Yonkers Raceway. He was a communicant and former usher at St. John the Baptist Church. Alfred was a lifetime member of VFW Empire Post 375. He was the dear brother of Tessie Castellano and the late Joseph Conchiglio, Eleanor Abramowitz, and Anna Franz, and beloved brother-in-law of Dominic Castellano. Several nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews survive him. Funeral Mass Monday, 10 am, at St. John the Baptist Church, Yonkers, NY. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
