Amy Dillon Obituary
Amy Alper Dillon, born August 24,1963 in New Rochelle, NY died fighting a long battle with cancer on October 27, 2017 at her sister's home in Roswell, Georgia. Amy was the beloved wife of James Dillon and loving mother of Christopher and Jaime. She is also survived by her devoted sister Betsy Hopper nee Alper, nieces Lindsay and Rachel, nephew Jake, and her adoring father and stepmother Jerry and Tina Alper of Eastchester, NY and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Amy was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Alper.
Amy and her husband owned and operated a successful air conditioning business in Melbourne, Florida. She loved her animals and had a soft spot for adopting strays. She enjoyed word games, puzzles, betting on football games and loved her Cincinnati Bengals. She remained a kid at heart, enjoying amusement parks as much as her kids.
The Alper family will receive friends at their NY home on Wednesday, November 1st from 5-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
