ANDREW DiGUGLIELMO Obituary

Andrew George DiGuglielmo of Mahopac, NY, formerly of Dobbs Ferry, NY died Sunday, December 28, 2003. He was 85. He was born in Dobbs Ferry on December 11, 1918 the son of Generoso and Maria (Yozzo) DiGuglielmo. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Senior Citizens of Mahopac. He was a produce clerk for A&P in Hastings-on-Hudson for about 40 years prior to his retirement. On August 10, 1947 he married Rose Omboni at Sacred Heart Church in Dobbs Ferry. Mrs. DiGuglielmo died in January 1987. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Sadowski and her husband Walter of Mahopac and his son, Joseph DiGuglielmo and his wife Concetta of Yonkers; his brothers, Joseph and Richard, both of Dobbs Ferry; his sisters, Marie Malavacco of Ossining, Domenica Rago and Maria Theresa Ritacco both of White Plains and his four grandchildren. Visiting will be held today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:45am at St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Leukemia Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY 10601.
