Anne DePonto Obituary
Anne Reale DePonto, 92 a lifetime resident of Irvington, died on September 29, 2013 at St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry. Anne was born in Irvington to the late Pasquale and Maria Reale. On March 10, 1945, she married Vito DePonto of Yonkers at the Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington. Anne was employed by the Ciba Geigy Corporation in Ardsley and retired in the early 1980s after many years of service.
Anne is survived by her brother Victor Reale of Cortland Ohio, her three children, Janice Blount of Phoenix AZ, Mariane Lolis of Dobbs Ferry and William DePonto of Carmel NY. Anne is also survived by her two grandchildren John and Anne-Marie Lolis of Dobbs Ferry and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband Vito DePonto, brothers Pasquale and Albert Reale and her sister Angela Reale Quaglieri.
Mass of the Resurrection 10am Thursday Immaculate Conception Church, Irvington. Visiting 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday (Today) Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Cabrini Nursing Home, Dobbs Ferry, NY would be greatly appreciated. The DePonto family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of St. Cabrini Nursing Home for the loving care provided for Anne.
