Barbara Clay Mauriello passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in White Plains, NY surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was an incredibly loving mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend. Her sense of humor and laughter were engaging and infectious to anyone that came in contact with her.

Barbara attended Vassar College and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a practicing nurse for over 35 years. Upon retiring, she pursued a second career as a licensed real estate agent for Nelson-Vrooman Realty. She dedicated countless hours and weekends with clients in search of their perfect home.

Barbara had tremendous energy and deployed it across her many interests and passions. She was a proud daughter of White Plains and was active and involved in every corner of the community that she so cherished - The Women's Club of White Plains, The Tiger Fans Committee, The Touchdown Club, White Plains Hospital Auxiliary Board, White Plains Beautification Foundation, The Girl and Boy Scouts, PTA and was a founding member of the White Plains Alumni Association. She took great joy volunteering for the many causes that she championed and always had a positive, lasting impact.

Barbara will be remembered for her incredible kindness and generosity. She delivered Meals on Wheels, taught religion at St Bernard's Church and hosted student athletes for The Glenn D. Loucks Games.

Above all, Barbara loved her family and friends. She took great joy having them in her home or around her dining room table. She is survived by her son Michael (Mary) of Hopewell Junction, NY and daughter Sandra (Thomas) Broderick of White Plains, NY, and grandchildren Steven, Joseph, Marissa, Amanda, Kyra and Celia. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Rudolph, sister Virginia and granddaughter Katherine.

We were blessed and all the richer to have had Barbara in our lives. May she rest with the angels.
