AGE: 94 • Peekskill
Barbara Scaramellino, age 94 of Peekskill, NY passed away at her daughters home on June 1, 2015 surrounded by her family. A homemaker, Barbara was born in Brooklyn on December 1, 1920 to Philip and Josephine Accardi Lombardo. On October 3, 1953, she married Hugo Scaramellino at St. Leonard's Church in Brooklyn. She is survived by three daughters; Louise (Steven) Emma of Hopewell Junction, Joanne (Jack) Christian of Hopewell Junction and Barbara (Domenico) Gaudioso of Mullica Hills, NJ and a sister, Sally Shults. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Emma, Michael and Eric Christian and Michael Gaudioso and a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Emma.
Predeceased by her husband, Hugo Scaramellino and a sister, Frances Graffeo. Visitation is today, Wednesday, 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, 10:00am, Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
