Zalon, Brenda

Zalon, Brenda, 72, of Heritage Springs, in Trinity FL, died March 8th in Dunedin, after a long illness. Originally from New York City she was a graduate of Queens College. She lived for many years in Somers NY, where she was employed, for 26 years, as a copy editor for Readers Digest, in Pleasantville. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Paul; her daughter Debra, her brother Victor Saxe and his wife Irene of Lakeland, and her sister-in-law Barbara and her husband Benton Boggs also of Heritage Springs. Brenda was much loved and will be missed by many residents of Heritage Springs, especially readers of the community newsletter Visions, which she helped write and edit. Services will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 16 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers please send a memorial contribution in her name to Guiding Eyes For The Blind.
