Brendan Maguire Obituary
Patterson - Brendan James Maguire, 17, of Patterson, NY, was called to God on August 20, 2018, after a 14-month battle with osteosarcoma.
Brendan was a student at Kennedy Catholic High School in Somers, New York where he played both basketball and baseball. His courage and faith, displayed throughout his illness, inspired all those around him.
Brendan's memory will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Ellen and Rory Maguire, sisters, Meghan and Ciara, maternal grandparents, Joe and Pat McGann, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Catherine and Bernard James Maguire.
Wake services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 5-9PM at the Balsamo Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church Street, Carmel, NY. His funeral will take place on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James the Apostle Church, Carmel, NY.
Memorial contributions to: The Frances Pope Memorial Foundation, helping families of children with pediatric cancer, 401 East 81 Street (Suite 28), New York, NY 10028.
