Camille Magazino Obituary
Hastings-on-Hudson - Camille Ackerman, a resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY and formerly of Eastchester, NY passed away on Monday August 27, 2018 at the age of 79. She was born on January 13, 1939 in the Bronx, NY to the late John and Michelina (Nargi) Magazino. Camille is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Eddie and her children, Valerie Cermele, Edward Ackerman Jr, and Donna Walsh (Chris). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Amy Cermele, Alycia Ackerman, Nicole Cermele, Ashley DiMatteo (Jerry), Edward Ackerman, Christopher Walsh (Takako), Danielle Cermele, Daniel Walsh, Steven Ackerman and Camille Walsh. Camille is also survived by her brothers Carmine Magazino and John Magazino.
The family will receive family and friends on Thursday August 30, 2018 from 2PM - 5PM and from 6PM - 9PM at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 31, 2018 at 9:30AM at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. We were so sad to hear of Cousin Camille's passing. She was always so sweet, warm, and loving. I will always cherish my childhood memories of Camille and Cousin's Club meetings and get-togethers from years past.

God took Camille away from us too soon. She was like our angel on earth. She was so sweet, kind and generous and never had a bad word to say about anyone, I don't think she ever saw bad, only good in people. My heart goes out to her beautiful family and she will be in my heart forever.
