Carol Rufino, 91, of Pleasantville, NY and formerly of Mt. Vernon, NY passed away Saturday, October 24th. She was born November 28th, 1923 in Mt. Vernon, NY, the daughter of Dominic and Rose (Tremonte) Capone. Carol worked for Ley Management in Bronxville and Rielle Insurance Company in Bedford. Carol was a proud member of the Junior League of Mt. Vernon Hospital. Carol loved to paint, knit, create jewelry and write poetry.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, Gabriel and her son, Randall. She is survived by, and will be sorely missed by, her son, Anthony, daughter-in-law, Elise, and granddaughters, Lauren (Brad) Seiler and Dr. Katrina Rufino.

Carol was also predeceased by her brothers James Capone and Dr. Anthony Capone. She will be missed by her sister, Ann Bloomberg of Florida, her brother, Louis Capone of Yonkers and her sixteen nieces and nephews.

All who knew Carol will remember her love, kindness, creativity and fabulous cooking.

Visitation Friday 11:00am-1:30pm, at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville, where funeral service will be held at 1:30PM. Interment following at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
