CATHERINE M. EVERSON

EVERSON, CATHERINE M. Catherine M. Everson, of Tallman, NY, died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. Mrs. Everson was born in Annapolis, MD on February 17, 1911 to John and Anna King Miller. She graduated from the Chester Hospital School of Nursing in Chester, PA in 1933. Mrs. Everson married Russell W. Everson on June 7, 1936 in Tallman, NY. She was a member of Grace Church in Suffern and was an avid gardener. She was predeceased by her husband Russell W. in 1990. Survived by her children Russell J. Everson of Tallman, NY and Viola J. Burkhard of Vero Beach, FL, her grandchildren Michael, Robert and Mark Burkhard, six great-grandchildren. She was also the mother-in-law of Carl Burkhard and Lynne Everson. Friends may call at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm, where the Service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Tallman, NY. Contributions may be made to the Grace Church, 506 Haverstraw Road, Suffern, NY 10901 in her memory.
