CATHERINE PILLERA Obituary

Catherine Pillera, 85, of Mahopac, NY passed away on October 17, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Pillera was born on October 24, 1924, in Brooklyn, NY to Vincent and Josephine (Avanzato) Restivo. On July 23, 1949 she married Salvatore Pillera in Brooklyn, NY. Mrs. Pillera was a homemaker and dedicated her entire life to her family. She is survived by her two loving daughters; Camille Papineau and her fiance Randy Croft, of Mahopac, NY, Josephine DeGweck her husband, Gary of Middletown, NJ, four adoring grandchildren; Paul and (Michele) Papineau, Stephen and Tara Papineau, Christine DeGweck and Jennifer DeGweck, and five wonderful great-grandchildren; Paul, Amanda, Alexa, Brandon and Tyler Papineau. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Salvatore. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home. A service will be held on Thursday, at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery. Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 418 Route Six, Mahopac, NY 10541 (845)628-5655.
