Corrado Scala Obituary
New City - Corrado Ronald Scala of New City, NY passed away on December 28th, 2019 at the age of 86. Corrado Ronald was born on 12/17/1933 to Dante and Tomasina Scala in Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Vincenza Scala. He is also survived by his daughter Tomasina, his sons, Joseph and Dante, and his daughter-in-law Lillian, as well as his 2 grandchildren Daniel and Laura. Corrado was the firstborn of 7 children and is survived by his 4 sisters and 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews. His exemplary life, to all who knew him will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, January 2nd from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Memorial service will be held at Faith Assembly of God Church in Chestnut Ridge, NY on Friday, January 3rd at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Brick Church Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY. In lieu of flower donations can be made to the following charities- Samaritan's Purse; Multiple Myeloma Foundation; Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
