Daniel Bolan Obituary
Mount Vernon - D. Cletus 'Clete' Bolan, 82, of Mount Vernon, passed in his sleep on September 11, 2021. Loving husband of Frances 'Gwen' Bolan with whom he shared 57 years of adventures and father of Nancy (m. to Scott Campbell) and Claire Bolan (m. to Paul McNeice, 2016). Born on March 24th 1939 to William and Mary Bolan in Astoria, Queens, he attended Mount Caramel Church, Rice High School, and Iona College. Clete served as a Christian Brother, in the US Army Reserves, and worked with Agfa-Gevaert until 1994. Calling Hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 5pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville, Monday, September 20 at 10:45am. In Lieu of flowers contributions many be made to either Wildlife Conservation Society or Edmund Rice Christian Brothers Foundation.
