Deborah Krucik Obituary
Deborah F. Krucik of Congers, NY died suddenly on Saturday, September 10, 2016. She was 66.
Ms. Krucik was an administrative secretary for the NYS Department of Mental Health for 39 years. For the past several years she has worked part time as a secretary for the Village of West Haverstraw.
Debbie was born August 27, 1950 to Vincent and Elizabeth (Bicho) Yusko.
She was a graduate of Tappan Zee HS in 1968.
Debbie will be remembered for being a truly loyal, sincere, loving dedicated sister. She had a passion for gardening and was an animal lover, especially her cat, Chelsea.
She is survived by her sister, Kathy Henry (Jeff) of Suffern, NY; brother, Robert (Ann) Yusko and nieces and nephews, Kelly (Seth) Links, Robert (Brenda) Yusko and Christopher Yusko and a great niece Kelsey Links who brought nothing but joy to Debbie's life. She is also survived by her beloved aunt and uncle Patricia and John Janocha of Rossiter, PA.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Catharine R. C. Church, Blauvelt, NY. Burial to follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY. Visiting is Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc..

My heart is broken,where do i begin talking about my best friend since we were five years old and our families had just moved to Blauvelt,New York.We did everything together,good times and not so good times but were always there for each other.Debbie was like a sister and like another member of the family.I can still remember my Mom taking us for banana splits at Dairy Queen.I could go on and on about our relationship but this message would have no end.I will love and miss u forever.Until we meet again on the other side,say hi to everyone. luv ya,Barb

Our hearts are broken . Debbie was as much a member of our family as if she had been born to us. Debbie came into our lives when she was still in High School. She was our #1 babysitter and Biggest sister to our children...She spent more time at our house than she did sometimes at her own home. The relationship continued for many, many years. She was always involved in Christenings, Birthdays, Weddings and any other family event that deemed any kind of a party or get-together. She made the cake for our oldest daughters wedding. She was super talented. She was always there when asked or needed. Though we lost touch over the last few years she was thought of often with love and fond memories. Our deepest condolences Kathy and Robert. She was one of a kind and she will be missed..
