DR. DONALD M. COPPOLA

Dr. Donald M. Coppola at 53 years of age, Passed away quietly on January 12, 2007 at Danbury Hospital. A recent resident of Danbury, CT, and a former longtime resident of Kent, NY, Dr. Coppola caringly maintained an active practice for many years in the town of Carmel, NY, where he was well respected for his many contributions to the community. He received his Bachelors Degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Psychology at the Graduate Center of the City University Center of New York. His Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Clinical Psychology were received from the California School of Professional Psychology at Fresno. Dr. Coppola has been a member of the American Psychological Association, the New York State Psychological Association, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Dr. Coppola is survived by his proud and loving parents Michael and Roselyn Coppola of the Bronx, NY, his devoted wife of 32 years Nancy Jean Coppola, his cherished daughters Emily and Katelyn, his beloved son Nicholas, and his loving sisters, Cynthia Lontos and husband Robert of Stanford, Ct, and Barbara Brusco and husband Vincent of The Bronx, NY. He will be missed dearly by his extended family, and the many dear friends and patients he had. He was a member of the congregation of, His Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Bethel, CT: where he was active in many church matters including the church worship team. In addition to his love of Christ he took every opportunity to perform his lifelong pleasure of playing the drums. Funeral arrangements have been made at the Cargain Funeral Home of Carmel, NY. Visiting hours are Sunday and Monday January 13, and 14, at 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass is at 10 am on Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church, Carmel, NY, followed by the interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
