Rye brook - Donald "DEE" DeAndrea, longtime resident of Rye Brook, died on Oct 11, 2021 at Greenwich Woods, in Greenwich, CT. He was 84. Mr. DEE worked as an Operations Manager for Arnold Bakers in Greenwich, CT. He was with the company for 45 years before retiring in 1999. Mr. DEE was born on May 8th, 1937 in Port Chester, NY to Vito and Grace Bruglia DeAndrea. He was educated in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1954. Mr. DEE served in the Army from 1954 to 1958. On April 24, 1959, he married Rose Bellantoni at Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester, NY. Mr. DEE will be remembered for his passion for Art and Painting/Drawing, love for music & dancing, and his desire to always make people laugh and smile. He is survived by his wife Rose DeAndrea, the one and only grandchild Victoria DeAndrea-Prieto and husband Christian Prieto, daughter-in-law Mary Ninno DeAndrea, sister Janet and husband John Bertrand, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Donald DeAndrea Jr., several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, October 14th 4-8pm at Joseph Tutera Funeral Home Inc. The funeral is 11am, Friday, October 15th at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent Street. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook. In lieu of flowers, friends may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association by calling 800-272-3900 in memory of Donald DeAndrea. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Greenwich Woods who touched DEE's life.

Rosa, so sorry to hear this sad news. I remember Donald from William St and Arnold´s. I remember and still treasure a painting Donald gifted to me at the credit union. He was always a cheerful visitor to the cr union. He is in a peaceful place now, back with his son, who welcomed him to paradise.
