My condolences to the family during this hard time. May you find comfort in knowing that God will help you get through the sadness and help you recall the good times you had with your loved one (Psalm 147:3).

My sincerest symapthies for the loss of Betty. I knew Betty way back when we both worked at Finast in Tarrytown. I was 16 and Betty was a mentor towards me. I had hoped to see her priorto her passing. At least I was able to talk with John. RIP my friend

My Dearest Best Friend Betty,
This letter is so hard for me to write but I just had to tell you how much you meant to me as a Best Friend. We had some history together an shared so much fun, laughter an sorrow. Our children even grew up together and are still friends to this day. They gave us beautiful grandchildren too!!
Betty, I loved playing canasta with you almost every night after our kids went to bed. You were always so competitive and boy oh boy,you sure took a long time about what move to make playing cards together. We did a lot of shopping together, which was one of your favorite things, and boy oh boy, you took a long time with that too! You just had to see everything! Our trip to Disney with Larry Pace was so funny because when we got back,my car broke down an we had to walk the rest of the way to my house. We looked like a bunch of hobos carrying all the bags across the big road. We laughed so much. You worked so hard, as a single parent for a long time to provide for your family.
Then this great man,Jim,who you met on the bus as he was driving you to work, came into your life and made you so happy! It was hard for you to accept him asking you out all the time. I said "go for it", you need to be happy. Boy did he make you happy. He gave you a good life and I was so happy for that.
Well, my Best Friend, I can go on and on about all the things we shared for a long time but you know them. So, for now, I will just say "Farewell best friend", until we meet again.
Always an forever, your best friend,Ann. God Bless.
