FELIX O. RIVERA Jr.

Felix O. Rivera, Jr., 21, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2009. Felix was born on July 27, 1987 in Carmel, NY to Maria H. Torres and Felix O. Rivera Sr; Felix had enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He had worked as a mechanic at the McCarthy Tires in LaGrange, NY. Felix was an avid football fan and player; he enjoyed playing semi-pro football with the Dutchess County Cowboys. He is survived by his mother Maria Torres of Hopewell Jct., his father Felix O. Rivera, Sr. of Puerto Rico and two sisters: Anita Rivera and Dawn Medina. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Elician and Anna Torres of Cortlandt Manor and several aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins and friends. Felix will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the E.O. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, Peekskill.
