FILOMENA PISCANI Obituary

Filomena (Fannie) Piscani, of Valley Cottage, NY, died on June 11, 2004 in Nyack Hospital. Fannie was born in New York on April 17, 1915 to Carlo and Maria (Bossa) Soreca. She has been a resident of Valley Cottage for 20 years, prior Bronx, NY. Fannie was a loving caring person, mother, grandmother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons: Frank of New City; Carl of Florida; Emil of Nanuet and Patrick of Colorado; and her brother, Dominick of Nanuet. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Fannie was one of seven siblings, two sisters and four brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 am at St. Augustine's Church, New City, NY. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Donations to American Cancer Society. MICHAEL J. HIGGINS FUNERAL HOME 321 S. Main St., New City (845)634-6110
