FLORENCE PATTERSON Obituary

Florence Patterson of West Haverstraw, NY, died on December 4, 2003 at her residence. She was 66. Florence was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 23, 1937 to John and Frances (Delia) Scibelli. She worked at North Rockland High School and retired from Clarkstown School District as a School Aide. Florence was a former member of Volunteer Hose Ladies Auxiliary in West Haverstraw. She was an avid Bingo player and loved Foxwood and Atlantic City. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Brian in 1988. She is survived by her sons: Roger and Eva Patterson, Dennis and Maria Patterson, and Kenneth and Shari Patterson, and her daughter, Jennifer and Tom DiBenedetto. She is also survived by her brother, John and her sister, Elizabeth and ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 am at St. Gregory's Church, Garnerville, NY. Private cremation will follow. Visiting at HIGGINS FUNERAL HOME, ROUTE 9W, STONY POINT, NY on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Donations requested to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Rockland. MICHAEL J.
