Francis Wares Obituary
Francis E. Wares age 80, passed away August 13, 2016. He is a retired Chief Warrant Officer of the New York State Army National Guard. Francis is survived by his loving family, his wife Sheila Wares, daughter Valerie Wares, and brothers; Charles and Michael Wares. Francis is predeceased by his son Gregory Wares. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the George M. Holt Funeral Home, 50 New Main Street, Haverstraw, NY 10927. Francis's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:30 AM at St. Peters and & St Mary's Church, 115 Broadway Haverstraw, NY. Interment to follow at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 220 Brick Church Road, New Hempstead, NY 10977. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in loving memory of Francis E. Wares may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
