Franco Annunziata Obituary

Franco Sirica Annunziata

Thornwood - Franco Sirica Annunziata of Mount Vernon and Thornwood, NY died on March 27, 2020 at the age of 92.

Born in Sarno, Provincia Salerno, Italy on January 4, 1928, he was the eldest son of Alberto Annunziata and Filomena Sirica.

A life-long member of the Lithographers Union (Amalgamated Lithographers of America, ALA Local 1, NYC), he worked for the Commercial Decal Company in Mount Vernon and Hodes-Daniel Direct Advertising in Elmsford for much of his career.

He was predeceased by his sister Clorinda (Annunziata) Morinelli (Casalvelino, Italy) and brothers Martino and Egidio Annunziata (Sarno).

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose Clare Terraciano, a daughter Maria, a son Albert and daughter-in-law Margaret O'Meara Annunziata; three grandchildren Emily, Francis and James Annunziata and two great-grandchildren:

Michael Franco Thomas Berman Annunziata and Sloane Rachel Berman Annunziata.

In Italy he is survived by two brothers, Bruno Annunziata and Mario Annunziata, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Though I never met Frank, he was my Father Joe's first cousin and I always heard nice things about him. My condolences to his family. My son Joe ran into his son Al at Mavis Tire in Thornwood a couple of years ago and had a nice chat.
My brother Frank and his two daughters, Marisa and Jillian Annunziata have visited Frank's brother Mario near Naples many times.
Frank, as this picture shows, was a sharp looking guy.
I see the family resemblance!
