Frank Golczewski Obituary
Frank W. Golczewski 74, (Retired Yonkers Fire Dept.) of Thornwood, N.Y. died on July 14,2017 at his residence. He was born on Sept.6,1942 to the late Francis and Josephine Golczewski in Yonkers, N.Y. He proudly served with the US Marines. Frank was a Retired Decorated Firefighter with the Yonkers Fire Department for 30 Years retiring in 1998. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rosalee (nee Marciano) Golczewski of Thornwood, N.Y. and by his loving children, Marie (Tom) Regan of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y., Lori (Patrick) O'Malley of Pleasantville, N.Y., Scott (Christine) Golczewski of Pinellas Park, Fla. and Jeffrey (Michelle) Golczewski of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. also survived by his eleven cherished grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to St.Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn. would be appreciated.

Frank was one of my friends at the Ardsley Range. A consummate gentleman who enjoyed target shooting, talking about guns and was always willing to let me put a few rounds through his. I'm shocked and dismayed to hear he has passed. RIP, Frank.

I worked with Frank, on the Rescue for a few years . Great fire fighter and a great guy. Rest in peace Frank.
