I worked at 3M with George for years and he was my mentor but more than that, he was my friend! He always had a big smile on his face and always lifted everyone up. He truly will be missed!!!! Great human being.

I offer my sincere sympathies to the whole loving family of our dear cousin George. I really loved him and admired his strength during his illnesses. I also greatly admired and was grateful for the loving care given him by his family. Nikki the love you had for your parents was truly impressive and I have admired your strength throughout. He was one fortunate guy to have a bunch of kids and grandkids like he did. A big, caring wonderful family.
All our love and heartfelt condolences.
Happy fishing, George.
Much love,
Athena, Mano, and Allison

Some words for my beloved Uncle George:
When I was small, you were an idol of mine. You were tall, mysterious, handsome, and illusive. Although, being as small I was, I couldn´t possibly have used some of those words to describe you at the time. I smile as I say that. My most fond and distinct memory of you is of a time when I was around four or five, or maybe I was six years old. We were at Yia Yia´s. You barely noticed me, but I was watching you and I really wanted you to hug me. So, I went right up to you and stood in front of you while you towered over me. I said something like "Will you hug me?" As I recall it, you looked down and looked me in the eye as if it was the first time you ever saw me. You smiled warmly and said something like "okay I will" and then you gave me a great big hug. From that moment on you became one of the most special people in my life. You were kind and loving and you would let me know from time to time, that you were in my corner. I hold these memories close and I will always cherish them.
To my Cousin´s Nikki, Dean and Greg:
I´m so sorry for the loss of beloved father. He was a wonderful man. Your loss is unimaginable. I hold you in my heart and keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
To the rest of my family - Uncle George´s Grandchildren, Great Grand Children nieces and nephews, I share your loss. Many of you were much closer to him than I was. I hold you all up to God.
To Aunt Helen, should you read this, my heart broke for you as I saw you say goodbye to your beloved Brother-in-law, your contemporary. May God and the Blessed Mother bring you comfort.
With love, and in deepest sympathy,
Theo

Always hard to lose a patriarchal figure. Never quite comforting enough to consider that pain and suffering are no longer residual effects of a life well spent. Time does heal, and scars reveal character and proof that we have the blessed opportunity to feel. Appreciate the totality, not only the tragedy of loss. You can choose, so choose to happily recall Mr. K in all your thoughts. It may be hard, so it´s best to start warm regards as soon as the wake.
