GINO LUCADAMO Sr.

Gino Lucadamo, Sr. of Scarsdale, died on September 13, 1999 at his residence. He was 91. Mr. Lucadamo was born on September 27, 1907 in Guardia Lombardi Italy. He was the son of Gaetano and Rosaria Cicchillo Lucadamo. He was raised and educated in Guardia Lombardi. Mr. Lucadamo was a resident of Scarsdale for 35 years coming from Mt. Vernon. He was the founder of the Gino Lucadamo & Sons Contractors in 1935, a family business carried on by his sons and grandchildren. He was a former member of the Italian Civic Association of Mt. Vernon and a communicant of Annunciation Church in Crestwood. On April 8, 1934, he married the former Phyllis Mongarello at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Mt. Vernon. She predeceased him on July 3, 1983. He married the former Anna Fraioli-Andrade on October 27, 1984 at Annunciation Church. He is survived by his wife Anna, one daughter, Rosemary Lucadamo of Yorktown Heights, three sons, Gino Jr. and Richard of Millwood and Robert of Coral Springs, FL. He was also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by four brothers, John, Joseph, Jerry and Carmine and two sisters, Caterina and Concetta. Family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm at Bennett Funeral Home. The funeral is Thursday at Annunciation Church in Crestwood at 11am.
