Helen M. Hoffarth 85, of Somers, N.Y. and a former longtime resident of Valhalla, N.Y. died on May 4, 2012 at White Plains Hospital Center. She was born on
Feb.17, 1927 to the late Charles and Lauretta (nee Oakley) Schatz in Yonkers, N.Y. Helen was a retired Accounting Supervisor for New York Telephone Co. in White Plains, N.Y. She was a member of the Katonah Womens Club and the Lewisboro Senior Citizens. Helen was predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph F. Hoffarth in 1979 and is survived by her loving
children Charles (Mary) Hoffarth of Fort Salonga, N.Y., Kenneth Hoffarth of Valhalla, N.Y., Kathleen (Richard) Alfano of Southlake, TX and Joanne (Michael) Dignelli of Katonah, N.Y. Also survived by her five cherished grandchildren; Justin Dignelli, Matthew Alfano,
Christopher Alfano, Dean Dignelli and Brian Hoffarth. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday (today) 2-7 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday, 10AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 30 Glenn Street Suite 409 White Plains, N.Y. 10603 would be appreciated.
