Jack Matessino Obituary
Dobbs Ferry - Jack D. Matessino, 91, a longtime resident of Dobbs Ferry passed away on August 30, 2019. Jack proudly served in the US Army as a sergeant during the Korean War and continued in the National Guard. He was a member of Teamster Local 456 for many years. After retiring, Jack enjoyed his time as a crossing guard in Dobbs Ferry. He was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed.
Jack is survived by his wife Mary Ann (nee Talamini), children Linda Fastiggi, Michael Matessino, Jack (Andie) Matessino and Jeannie (John) Massotti, grandchildren Lindsay Fastiggi, Jaime Fastiggi, Nicole Massotti, Kara Massotti, Katie Matessino, Amanda Massotti, Peyton Matessino and Brooke Matessino and great granddaughter Aurelia Staviz. He is also survived by his sister Antionette "Nanna" Scaperrotta.
Mass of the Resurrection Wednesday 10AM Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry. Visiting Tuesday 4-8pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry.
