JAMES JOSEPH KOZA

January 19, 2008 This is the first anniversary of the death of James Joseph Koza, 72, of Champlain, NY and Fort Myers, FL. Jim was born in l935 in Nyack, NY to the late John and Mary Koza. He grew up in Northvale, NJ. He is survived by his brothers and their wives, Frank and Sally Ann of Goshen, NY, Ronald and Dinah of Prescott, AZ. He is also survived by his wife, Mary Pozzi/Koza; two sons, Kenneth of Pittston, ME and Alan of Virginia Beach, VA and one grandson, Brandon, who was the light of his life. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Maryann Koza. Jim worked for many years with the former Orange & Rockland Utilities Company, now Con-Ed. He lived for many years in Monsey, NY. He was also an accomplished artist and operated an art studio, teaching others the skills of painting. After retiring, he moved to Champlain, NY where he lived on Lake Champlain and enjoyed a country life. In 1995, he began to spend the winter months in Fort Myers, FL. He touched all who met him and will be greatly missed.
