Tarrytown - John "Giovanni" Corda, Hollywood, CA, Formerly of Tarrytown, NY- July 15, 1939- April 13, 2019. Survived by brother Anthony. Predeceased by parents Catherine and Frank Corda, Sr. and brother Frank Corda, Jr. Memorial holy mass at St. Augustine's Church, Ossining, NY at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 14. Interment Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.

To the dear friends and WEST COAST FAMIGLIA of my Uncle John "Giovanni",
Your kind wishes and outpouring of love for my uncle has touched my heart tremendously. I love these posted pictures! Thank you for your kindness and for taking such good care of him. I am so happy that he had all of you in his life.
God bless you, Uncle John. Please give Nana a kiss, and my dear Mom Arlene too. And give my Uncle Frank a hug and tell him a corny joke! And please tell your dear Father, my Nonno, whom I have never met, that I look forward to meeting him one day when I join you all.

To the Corda family: We are very sad to hear of dear Giovanni's passing.
He was a great man and a wonderful addition to our West Coast "famiglia". He demonstrated that "old world" respect and reverence towards elders that our mom Sara appreciated. He was welcomed with love at her birthday, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving celebrations sharing great food and lots of laughs. One of Sara's joys was to attend his live performances ( see pics attached).
Sara passed in January 2018. We knew he'd wished that she and his lovely mom, Caterina, would have met. We trust they are now sharing all the good memories.
Rest in peace dear "Gio". "Scriva quand 'arriva."
