John J. Cuffari

Stony Point - John J. Cuffari of Stony Point, NY, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at age 87. John was born in the Bronx on August 20, 1933, to Frank and Theresa Cuffari. He married Janet J. Colacicco of Mount Vernon, NY on October 29, 1960. They moved with their children to Stony Point in 1966. John was a lithographer for 47 years, having worked in various places, including Tandem Press in New York City, and finishing his career at Ryan Printing in Rockland County, NY, in 1998. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all aspects of nature, including fishing, bird watching, and camping. He also enjoyed working on his house, doing yard work, puttering in his garage, and most especially, spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Annunziata and her husband Pio of Stony Point; and his son John F. Cuffari and his wife Kristine of Stony Point. He is also survived by his grandchildren Anthony, Evan, and Pia Annunziata, and Gianna, Talia, and Lucia Cuffari. He was predeceased by his wife Janet J. Cuffari, and his sister Nancy Mineo. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 3, from 5 - 9 pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Stony Point, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 4, at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church on John St. in Stony Point, followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd. Monsey, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Parkinson's Foundation of your choosing.
