John Spanakos Obituary
John Michael Spanakos of Orangeburg, NY passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the age 79. John was born in NYC on October 3, 1933. He married Mary Katsafouros on June 19, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY. Mary predeceased him on Jan. 27, 2013.
He was an active member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Church in West Nyack, NY.
John is survived by his children, Michael (Maureen), Mark, Jason (Joanne), and Athena.
He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Nico, Jonathan, John, Danielle, Alexandra, Victoria, Jessica, and Matthew, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was be held on Saturday Aug. 10, 2013 at 10 am at St. Constantine and Helen Church in West Nyack, NY, followed by internment at the Tappan Reformed Cemetery in Tappan, NY.

Three men in my life meant everything to me. My Father, his brother George and Uncle John Spanakos. John and Mary had one of the most loving marriages and words cannot describe how much I shall miss this both.
