Mr. Crespo was the first person I saw in the morning at Yonkers High School. His students loved him and to walk into his classroom was an experience unlike any other. Plants, animals, happy kids. He was always kind and calm. He was a treasured colleague. I am so sad. E. Palmer

What a kind and gentle soul. Mr. Crespo has inspired and touched so many lives, he wasn't just a great teacher; he was a beautiful human being. His thoughtfulness and sincerity will always stay with me and guide me in my life. Rest In Peace legend.

George will be missed by all of us at Yonkers Middle/High School. His kind and gentle persona was appreciated by all the children he taught. Everybody loved Mr. Crespo! I will miss seeing him walking down the halls with his signature black cropped pants and tailored white shirt and gray vest! He always had a kind word for everyone. I am grateful that he was my mentor when I was a student teacher. I extend my sincere condolences to Mercy, Brianna, Jacqueline, his parents, his siblings, and close friends. May he rest in peace.

Jorge Crespo was always my favorite art teacher at Yonkers Middle School. Even when I was in Yonkers High School I would go visit his class and just sit in his lessons, he was such an admirable person. He is one of the reasons I wanted to pursue art in my adulthood. I always said when I was older I'd go back to visit his class, this saddens me that I would never get that chance. My condolences go out to his family and friends. Sending prayers and blessings your way.

My condolences to the family. He worked at School 14 in years with me years ago. He was always a respectful and kind man. Know he will be missed by family and friends. RIP - Maggie and John Cardona
