JOSEPH MAZZIOTTI Obituary

Joseph A. Mazziotti of Scarsdale on December 6, 2002. He was born August 21, 1910 in Pocantico Hills, NY. Mr. Mazziotti was a member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) of America since August of 1929. He was made a Life Member of the PGA and served his entire career in the Metropolitan Region. He played on the PGA Tour in the '30's and '40's and then became a teaching Golf Professional with affiliations at numerous country clubs throughout Westchester County. He taught for over 40 years at the Westchester Golf Range in Greenburgh, NY. He was a Master Teaching Professional with over 200,000 lessons given, spanning his 73-year career. Other club affiliations were Century Country Club, Fairview Country Club, Elmwood Country Club, Grassy Sprain Golf Club, The Harmony Club, The Town Club, and The City Athletic Club. Survivors include his wife, Rose, sons Joseph and Louis. Visitation, Monday, 3-5 and 7-9 PM at McElroy-Flynn Funeral Home, Inc., Mass, 10 AM Tuesday, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Scarsdale, NY. Care & Services have been entrusted by the family to McElroy-Flynn Funeral Home 914-592-6300
