JOSEPHINE MAZZAFERRO

Josephine Mazzaferro, formerly of Yonkers passed away on October 6, 1999 at the Horton Memorial Hospital in Middletown. She had been a resident of the Middletown Park Manor Nursing Home for the past four years. She was 92 years old. The daughter of the late Vincenzo and Filomena Lanna. She was born on July 26,1907 in Tagliacozzo, Italy and came to the United States as a child. Mrs. Mazzaferro is predeceased by her husband Louis in 1972, son Joseph in 1982, 1 sister Mary Pascucci and 2 brothers Arthur and Thomas. She is survived by son Louis Richard of Stony Point and was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, sister Bianca Deluca and a brother Tulio. Visitation will be held at T.J. McGowan Funeral Home in Garnerville from 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:00a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point. Interment will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings on the Hudson, N.Y.
