AGE: 87 • Mount Vernon
Josephine Pecchioni, 87, of Mount Vernon, passed away on August 13, 2013. She was born on March 19, 1926 to Michael and Carmella (Cimino) Palladino in Mount Vernon, NY. Josephine is survived by her loving children Jim (Korynn) Pecchioni, Robert (Sherry) Pecchioni, and Ellen (Frank) DiStefano, her grandchildren Denise (Mark) Maritato, Alex and Andrew Pecchioni, as well as her great-granddaughter Giovanna Maritato. She is also survived by her brother Gerard Palladino. She was preceded in death by her husband John N. Pecchioni, her sister Ruth, and by her parents. Visitation will be held at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER on Friday, August 16, 2013, from 9-11am, with a prayer service at 11am. Burial will take place at the Gate of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Josephine's memory to t he Boy Scouts Troop 2, 201 Boulevard, Scarsdale, NY 10583. Online condolences can be given at www.westchesterfuneralhome.com.

We all love Josephine! She has to be one of the dearest people I know.
Josephine was an outstanding lady. One could see how blessed she was - God's love shown through her in her cheerfulness, kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness, thankfulness and in all her smiles and loving (and sometimes :) feisty) ways.
We miss her and will always remember Josephine.

Josephine Pecchioni is the best mother-in-law that God ever created. I couldn't have been any more fortunate to have her in my life. I will miss her dearly each and every day of the rest of my time here on this Earth. I love you Mom.
