JOSHUA J. PERSON

On May 23, 2000 at Westchester Medical Center, Joshua J. Person of 202 Kennedy Drive, Spring Valley, NY, peacefully succumbed to a life-long illness. He was born October 31, 1985 in Nyack, NY to Sandra J. Person (deceased August, 1996) and Edmond Anthony Waldron. Joshua was a ninth grade student at Spring Valley Senior High School in Spring Valley, NY. He loved sports and was an active participant in basketball and football until his health began to fail. He was a member of Saint Paul's AME Zion Church at 121 Harriet Tubman Way in Spring Valley, NY. He participated in many of the youth oriented activities held at the church. He is survived by his father, Edmond Anthony Waldron of Montego Bay, Jamaica, WI, his sister, Bethani C. Jones, his aunt, Jacqueline M. Hopkins, his grandmother, Elizabeth Waldron, a nephew, Jakhari DJ Jones, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins, all of Spring Valley, NY. He also leaves to mourn his loss, many, many loving friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, May 29, 2000 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday, May 30, 2000 from 11 am - 1 pm at Saint Paul's AME Zion Church. Funeral services will follow the viewing.
