81, of Sarasota, died in his home on April 18, 2002. He was born March 23, 1921 in Peekskill, NY, and came to Sarasota in 1987 from Blackwood, NJ. He retired in 1984 from Con Edison. He in the 38th Division of the Army, WWII, in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Peekskill Fire & Police Patrol. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Marion Engle Gilleo, his son Kenneth (Maureen) of White Plains, NY, daughter Donna (Tom) Gilberti, of Sarasota, FL, five grandchildren, Tom (Danelle) Gilberti of Sarasota, FL, Karen (Mike) Mercurio of Nokomis, FL, Kenneth (Angela) of Hopewell Junction, NY, Michelle (Joe) DiPilato of White Plains, NY, Kevin (Noel) of White Plains, NY, six great-grandchildren, sister Virginia Langer of Buchanan, NY, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
