LAWRENCE ROACH Obituary
Dr. Lawrence Roach, 81, peacefully passed away on May 23, 2012. Born in Trinidad in 1931, Dr. Roach attended the radiology program at the Famed Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto and pioneered the treatment of uterine cancer by helping create the Heyman Afterloading procedure.
His passion for bringing quality health care led to the opening of many radiology practices in Westchester and Trinidad,
Dr. Roach is survived by his wife Judy Mohammed and his beloved sons, Dr. Dale Roach, Christopher Roach and Lawrence R. Roach. He also is survived by his brother Charles Roach and many nieces and nephews throughout Canada.
A memorial Mass will be held at 900am, Saturday June 16, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church, 15 South 5th Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10550.
