Scarsdale - Lorraine Cunningham (nee Higgins) longtime resident of Scarsdale passed away on September 22, 2018. Beloved wife of Philip Cunningham, loving mother of Laurie (Kenji) Arakawa, devoted Grandmother of Alessandra, loving daughter of Alma and the late Joseph Higgins, dear sister of Joseph, Shaun, Joan Savage, Kevin, Gloria Bonell and Lisa Cassin. She was extremely devoted to her treasured family. Calling Hours at The Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale on Wednesday, September 26 at 10 AM.

A dear cousin, and friend ; We had so many shared experiences .Lois and I have been together over 60 years now but you knew her before me as 7 year old girls playing in the Howard Street neighborhood in Mt Vernon . How surprised I was that she Knew aunt Sadie and aunt Dot when she saw them at my house months after we started dating .Lorraine was so sweet and caring and comes from a large remarkable family the pride and joy of her mother Alma[my cousin ] and her deceased father Joseph .We love this family and feel their pain .Lorraine has gone to her Heavenly Reward as the nuns in Our Lady of Victory promised .Phil and Lori our hearts and prayers are with during this difficult time .With great love and sadness Bobby and Lois Talbot .
