Maria Lagana Obituary
Maria "Mary" Lagana of Port Chester entered eternal life on February 17, 2011. She was born November 11, 1931 in Scillia, Reggio, Calabria, Italy to the late Antonio and Antonia Lagana. She was a seamstress for the Kay Chester Dress Company in Port Chester and then worked at the Convent of the Sacred Heart School in Greenwich, CT. She enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fortunato and is survived by her children Dominick (Stefanie), Maria Sarlo (Joseph), Anthony (April) and Minnie Fitchben (Carl), seven grandchildren, her sister Angela Colaluca (Anthony), Jo-Ann Federice (Bill) and brother Sam Lagana (Josephine). Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday February 21, 2011 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.

Dear Lagana Family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to all of you in the passing of your Beloved Maria. She was a wonderful lady devoted to all of you and others. May God Bless Her as she takes her journey home to her eternal rest. May God Bless All of You and give you strength to get through this most sorrowful time.
