Giannone, Dr. Michael

Dr. Michael Giannone, age 74 of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Bedford, NY passed away on January 4, 2017. Dr. Giannone was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 26, 1942. He was a Board Certified Doctor and Surgeon of Podiatry for 37 years; graduate of New York College of Podiatric Medicine and New York University.

Dr. Giannone practiced in Mt. Kisco, and Brewster, NY. He was a beloved doctor in the communities he served. In 2008, he retired from his practice. His memory will always be cherished by his family, friends, patients and all those he touched.

Dr. Giannone is survived by his wife Pamela of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Louis Giannone (Seeta) of Venice, FL and Michael Keith Giannone (Mali) of New Fairfield, CT; daughter, Monica Von Buxhoeveden (Tyson) of Elmhurst, IL; step-daughter Corinne Jackson (Morgan) of Niskayuna, NY; 5 grandchildren Gabriella, Peter, Michael Crissen, Liam and Grace. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Saint Francis of Assisi, 2 Green Street, Mt. Kisco, NY followed by internment at St. Francis Cemetery. Luncheon will be held at Mt. Kisco Holiday Inn to celebrate his life.
