Michael LaBarbera Obituary
Michael N. LaBarbera died May 25, 2015 at the age of 83. He was born in the Bronx, NY on December 2, 1931 to Michael & Florence LaBarbera. Both predeceased him along with his sister Anne LaBarbera. His surviving family members are, his wife, Esther LaBarbera of almost 62 years, two daughters, Sheryl Rose and Michelle LaBarbera, son-in-law, Richard Robson and three grandchildren, Shawn, Christopher and Renee Rose along with his beloved pets.
Michael went to Dewitt Clinton High School, then joined the Marine Corps from 1951-1954. He was an auto mechanic, and had his own repair/gas station on Old Route 304 in New City, NY. He was a diehard Mets fan.
Michael was a great father, grandfather, teacher, the most forgiving and amazing man who only saw the good in people and made so many lives better. We will always love and miss him.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Esther LaBarbera & Sheryl Rose. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. LaBarbera's memory to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.

To that special man in my life. Who made me who I am today. I couldn't ask for a better dad.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday - unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear to our heart. For death leaves a heartache no one can heal, and love leave a memory no one can steal.
I will miss you so very much. Play a round of Golf for me.
