I worked for Mike at Lake Sebago. He was our head lifeguard. After Lake Sebago, I served a 29-year military career that included several combat missions and a 22-year career as a chemist. I credit a great part of my success in life as the result of my experience working with Mike. Mikes easy going style coupled with his desire for himself and the people that worked with him to do the best job possible was what Mike was about. This experience of working with Mike at Lake Sebago gave me an understanding of how important it is to focus on doing the best job possible and not just efforts at making yourself look good.

Uncle Mike was a great man and second father for me and others "on the hill". He made me laugh, he made me think, and he taught me a lot. Im sorry I didn't see him more in his later years.

As time goes by and our immediate families get together we always talk about the great times you gave us with your stories which brings a smile to our faces. You are missed more than ever, your family is doing great and continue your tradition of telling stories, jokes and having an overall good time. We Love you and think of you so often about the great memories and fun times. God bless you, we cannot believe it has been 3 years but you are still very close to our hearts and will be forever. Rest in peace, Mickey. I've known Mike since
1976, but haven't seen him since before he retired.
Had a lot of good times with him at the Academy.
He managed to keep us all in stitches. To his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
