Professor Nick was like a ray of sunshine.

Coach Castataro changed my life. Even today I remember his wise words. A Great Coach undiscovered. Could have gone far as a Pro Coach if he wanted for the Sport of Soccer. 1964-66 Student a Soccer participant

I'm so sad to hear about Mr. Castrataro's passing. "Mr. C" was a great principal at Westlake Middle School and would scare me with his yelling yet make me laugh with his sense of humor. He truly loved every student and made sure we did our best. Rest in peace, Mr. C.

I have very fond memories of "Mr. C." as we called him at Post Road School where he first started to teach. Years later he taught at my children's school at Westlake. He was a wonderful teacher and a great man.

Mr. Castrataro was my science teacher in 1964 and 1965 at Highlands Junior High School. He is one of the three or four teachers who many decades later still make me smile when I think of them. Although I didn't like it when he yelled at me (which was often), I admired him and he made me want to do better at my studies. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry (& I will add, shocked) by your loss. As you well know, Nick was one of a kind: full of life, love, energy, caring, & compassion. My best teaching years were when Nick was the principal...he will always live on in my memories. Christmas will not be the same without his newsy card always being the first one of the season.
I am remembering all of you in my prayers.
