Nicholas Anthony NOVIELLO Jr.

Nicholas Anthony Noviello, Jr. August 26, 2004 at Sebring, FL. Aged 85. Born March 10, 1919 to Nicholas A. Noviello, Sr. and Margaret (McLaughlin) Noviello in the Bronx, NY. Nick was an attorney, a licensed Public Accountant and an Income Tax Preparer. In addition, he taught the first Real Estate Brokers' course at Westchester Community College for 29 years and was the former Manager of the NYS Peekskill Division of Employment Office. Nick was a WW II Veteran, having served under General George S. Patton as head radio operator in the Reconnaissance Company of the 771st (Black Panther) Tank Destroyers Battalion. He participated in both the battle at the Hedgerows and the Battle of the Bulge. Before and after the war, Nick attended night school while working and graduated Cum Laude from City College and received his Juris Doctor and Master of Tax Law degrees from NYU School of Law. Nick was also a member of numerous civic and religious organizations in Westchester and Putnam Counties. Nick is survived by his wife of 53 years Colleen (Pridmore) Noviello; four sons: Nicholas R. Noviello, III of Monrovia, CA; Michael A. Noviello of Brewster, NY; Matthew A. Noviello, Sr. of Carmel, NY; and Nicholas A. Noviello, IV of Winstead, CT; and a daughter Phyllis Ann Noviello of Sebring, FL; nine grandchildren: Laura Noviello Zaidman, Charlotte Noviello Bush, Jennifer I. Noviello, Colleen M. Noviello, Matthew A. Noviello, Jr., Sarah Shermeta, Leilani Shermeta, Krystle R. Noviello, and Brian Shermeta; five great-grandchildren, one sister Marguerite Buss of West Winfield, NY and a mother-in-law Helen M. Lojas of Sebring, FL. Three sisters: Edna Terrell, Helen Cannon and Roberta (Pat) Behrens and a brother William A. Noviello, Sr. predeceased Nick. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shrub Oak Methodist Church on Old Route 6, Shrub Oak, NY.
