NICHOLAS PERRI Obituary

Nicholas F. Perri a resident of Port Chester died June 20, 2008. He was 82 and was born May 20, 1926 in Larchmont, NY to the late Vito and Emma Maniscali Perri. He was raised and educated in Mamaroneck. He volunteered to served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in Guam and Iwo Jima. Mr. Perri was married July 1, 1956 to Frances Virtuoso at Corpus Christi Church. He was a mason foreman for Dic Concrete in Elmhurst, NY. Mr. Perri was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester and was a member of the Port Chester Elks. He was also a member of the Brick Layers and Mason Union Local #48. He enjoyed musical theater, coin collecting and spending time at Long Beach Island, NJ. He is survived by his wife Frances Perri of Port Chester, NY., daughter Debra Vecchiolla and husband John of Yorktown Heights, NY., Nicole Perri of Port Chester, NY., and Sue Loiaconi and husband Joe of Rye Brook, NY., sisters Margaret Ocskasy and Theresa DiBranga, grandchildren Sara and Claire Vecchiolla and Emily, Madeline and Nicholas Loiaconi. He was predeceased by his brother Trent Perri and sisters Caroline Giampietro and Celeste Cicierello. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM Thursday June 26, 2008 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to Corpus Christi Church. CRAFT MEMORIAL HOME, INC. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY (914) 939-0131
