ARMANDO C. CURZIO

Armando C. (Tex) Curzio of Lake Carmel, New York died June 13, 2003. He was 80. He was born January 13, 1923 to Antonio and Rosa Senese Curzio in Mt. Vernon, New York. He was a WWII Veteran with the AAF (Pacific). He later married Dorothy Millar on September 13, 1958 at Christ Church, Yonkers, New York. He was a Machinist for Lawlor in Mt. Vernon and a Controlex in Croton Falls, NY. He was a Member of Lake Carmel Fire Department for 25 years, A Life Member of the Mt. Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and a Member of St. John's Seniors, Brewster VFW, Kent Seniors, Patterson Golden Age Seniors and the Church of the Holy Communion in Mahopac, NY. He is survived by his wife Dorothy and three children Isabel Arvoy of Lake Carmel, Marie Winus of Ronkonkoma, LI and Audra Pixley of Lake Carmel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Angela, Chuck, Rachel, Mark, Alyssa, James and Victoria. He is dearly missed by his faithful canine companion Sally. Predeceased by his brothers John, Anthony, Joseph and Carlo Curzio. Visiting will be Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Adams-Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church Street (off Route 6), Carmel, NY. Funeral Service will be Monday 11 am at the Church of the Holy Communion, Route 6, Mahopac, NY. Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery.
