Peter Kopf Obituary
Peter Kopf, 70 of Stony Point, NY, formerly of Saddle Brook & Leonia, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was an avid Yankee and NY Giants fan for many years. Peter served our country proudly during the Vietnam War in the US Army.
Loving father, of John and his wife Sandra Kopf of Paramus, Peter Kopf and his fiancé Patty Avila of Morris County and Kim-Marie Kopf North Branch, NY. Beloved grandfather of Heidi, Adriana, John, Andrew, Peter, Lenny and Emma, and great-grandsons, Leo, Freddy, longtime loving companion of Stella Brzyski. Predeceased by his siblings the late Tony Kopf and the late Ilona DeNicola.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 at a time to be (announced) from the Vander Plaat Memorial Home followed by a time to be (announced) funeral mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 488 Saddle River Road Saddle Brook, NJ. The family has requested a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers an expression of sympathy, may be made in Peter's memory may be made to VA Hudson Valley Health Care System 41 Castle Point Rd, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
